So this week I want to share a couple of those songs that I LOVE with you. (There are plenty more from songs in movies that I love, and I plan on sharing more later!)

Top Ten Tuesday #21: Some Favorite TV Shows That Are Currently Still On TV

Top Ten Tuesday hosted by The Broke and the Bookish. Their blog can be found here.

July 15: Let's talk about other types of stories! Top Ten Favorite Movies or TV Shows! (can break it down to top ten favorite romance movies or comedy shows etc. etc.)

I am a big fan of TV shows and movies. I really enjoy watching them. And I am not going to be able to limit myself to just ten, so I am cheating on this TTT. But I am going to share ten of my favorite TV shows that are CURRENTLY on TV. (I have tons that are no longer on like Veronica Mars, Gilmore Girls, Friends, Buffy, Charmed, etc...)

***Please don't post any spoilers for any of these shows. A lot of them I am behind on due to not getting the channel, so I catch up on them on Netflix and buying DVD's. So there is a VERY good chance that I haven't seen the latest season(s) of some/all of these shows. Thanks!***

Tune in Tuesday #18: The Ramones

Tune In Tuesday is a weekly feature in which bloggers get to showcase another one of their loves, music! This feature was originally created by Ginger over at GReads! but you can now find it at Kate’s Tales of Books and Bands. If you would like to participate in this weekly feature, make a blog post showcasing a song (or a few!) Then link up with Katelyn's Tune In Tuesday blog post if you want!

On July 11, 2014, Tommy Ramone passed away. He was the last surviving (original) member of The Ramones.
There are several times that I have wished that I would have been able to see The Ramones perform. They quickly have become one of my all time favorite bands and I listen to their music a lot.
(Marky Ramone is still living. He joined The Ramones in 1978 as the drummer and was in the movie, Rock n' Roll High School with The Ramones. I really love the movie!)
So this week I am going to share some of my love for this band.

I hope you all enjoy the songs.

This week I want to share some of my favorite songs from one of my favorite bands: Against Me!
I first heard of this band when I met Leif. He introduced me to them. And it didn't take long for me to absolutely love their music. I have been listening to them since 2005 and they are still one of my most listened to bands ever. (Up there with The Ramones and The Beatles).
I'm going to try and limit the amount of songs I share. Which will be hard since I LOVE so many of their songs!

Bailey wasn’t always a wild child and the black sheep of her family. She used to play fiddle and tour the music circuit with her sister, Julie, who sang and played guitar. That ended when country music execs swooped in and signed Julie to a solo deal. Never mind that Julie and Bailey were a duet, or that Bailey was their songwriter. The music scouts wanted only Julie, and their parents were content to sit by and let her fulfill her dreams while Bailey’s were hushed away. Bailey has tried to numb the pain and disappointment over what could have been. And as Julie’s debut album is set to hit the charts, her parents get fed up with Bailey’s antics and ship her off to granddad’s house in Nashville. Playing fiddle in washed-up tribute groups at the mall, Bailey meets Sam, a handsome and oh-so-persuasive guitarist with his own band. He knows Bailey’s fiddle playing is just the thing his band needs to break into the industry. But this life has broken Bailey’s heart once before. She isn’t sure she’s ready to let Sam take her there again…

Georgie McCool knows her marriage is in trouble. That it’s been in trouble for a long time. She still loves her husband, Neal, and Neal still loves her, deeply — but that almost seems besides the point now. Maybe that was always besides the point. Two days before they’re supposed to visit Neal’s family in Omaha for Christmas, Georgie tells Neal that she can’t go. She’s a TV writer, and something’s come up on her show; she has to stay in Los Angeles. She knows that Neal will be upset with her — Neal is always a little upset with Georgie — but she doesn’t expect to him to pack up the kids and go home without her. When her husband and the kids leave for the airport, Georgie wonders if she’s finally done it. If she’s ruined everything. That night, Georgie discovers a way to communicate with Neal in the past. It’s not time travel, not exactly, but she feels like she’s been given an opportunity to fix her marriage before it starts . . . Is that what she’s supposed to do? Or would Georgie and Neal be better off if their marriage never happened?
